Aloha Friday ~ 2-19
Aloha! I'm joining Kailani from an Island Life for another "take it easy" question and answer post. If you'd like to get involved, click the link and you'll be take over to her post for today. It's easy-bo-breezy.
Here's my question for the day:
Would you consider buying a home if it needed a little "elbow grease" for the right price?
We'll be finding out the answer to this question tomorrow morning. For us, it depends on how much "grease" we're talkin'. :)

No, although we did talk of it once and I do not recall what changed out minds, thankfully something did. Between the kids, my head, and DH's work, we never seem to have time to work on the small things around the house. Projects that should not take long drag on for weeks.

This is exactly what we want!!! My hubs would love to find a dump and make it his own and completely re-do it! He's very handy! Would you? :)

No, because neither my husband nor I have the time to put into it. Oh and we don't really have the skill set either. lol

Although it sounds like a great idea, I don't think I would ever find the time to make all the improvements! I can barely keep up with my current house. :) Happy Friday!

That's what we bought back in 2006! The previous owners did not take care of the house, it needed alot of TLC! Before we moved in we stripped ever inch of carpet out and put down oak hardwood floors! Both the full baths have been remodeled and next is the basement finish and the kitchen remodel.

Depends on how many things need to be done.

If the price and bones of the house were right, we would definitely invest in something that we could customize and make our own, especially if it were a final destination home purchase.

Sure, we already have, but our little is acutally a lot of elbow grease so it will take us quite a while to fix up. That's ok.

That's exactly what we did. It's called a "Handyman Special". This place was a mess, but after my husband remodeled room by room it really shaped up. I love my home & we're still not done. Always something to change. LOL
