Photofiddle (review) Giveaway Closed

If you're looking for a great gift idea for Mother's Day (May 10), I would love to offer you an idea. On Photofiddle.com, you can purchase an instant gift certificate and send your Mom/wife/daughter to the website to create her own masterpiece from her favorite photo.

I was able to try out the "Photofiddle experience" in my home and looked through many pictures before I found the perfect one to fiddle. Like any good photo, this one has a backstory that means the world to me.

When I was little, my Mom made Victorian Era costumes for the 3 of us (my sister, myself, and my mom) to wear to an Antique Car Show in Greenfield Village. This quickly became a tradition and we were fortunate to have an artist give my mom an oil painting of the 3 of us all dressed up. Every time I see this painting, I remember the fun times we shared over the many trips we took.

Last year, my mom made a costume for myself and Alex to wear so our tradition could now include my son. (Some girls just never grow out of playing dress-up). A friend of mine came with us to take photos and help me capture the memory of our trip.

Here's the photo I sent to Photofiddle:

see Lisabethphotography.com to learn about the photographer

and here's the finished fiddle:

I was sent a beautiful 12x17 "oil painting" on a stretched canvas.

When I opened the box to see the finished result, I couldn't help but cry. Photofiddle has given me a cherished memory that mirrors the very oil painting hanging in my parent's dining room.

Photofiddle is a wonderful way to preserve a memory like mine or create a fun photo. They have MANY effects to choose from on their website. There's definitely something for every person and every home.

Go to Photofiddle and let them fiddle with your photo today. :)
